Google Reader's Over: Other ways to follow me!

Hey everyone!

As most of you have probably heard by now, Google is officially getting rid of Google Reader on July 1st. When I first heard about this change, I was a little confused. Actually, I'm still kind of confused. When many of you started to follow me through GFC, you probably clicked the Google Reader button. Google Reader and GFC are separate Google products though. So when there's no Google Reader, will my GFC number go down? Also, it seems like GFC is going to get the boot sooner or later as well. I currently have just under 3000 GFC followers, so this is a huge deal!

With all that being said, I just felt that I had to pause and take a moment to come on here and beg you all to please follow me on Bloglovin'. I know that there are other mediums for reading blogs out there, which I will definitely be looking into in the future, but I am fully committed to keeping Bloglovin' long term, so that is what I'm going to focus on at the moment.

Milani Ultrafine Eyeliner!

Hey everyone!

Tonight, I have a review and swatches of Milani's new Ultrafine Eyeliners to share with you all! These Eyeliners come in five different shades (4 with a shimmer, 1 matte).

I have quite a bit of history with trying liquid eyeliners, and I was actually really surprised on how much I liked these! I usually have problems with the eyeliner getting on my eyelashes and sticking, but the brush for these was so fine that I didn't have that issue. Also, these apply really smooth and are the perfect consistency. (I can't tell you how many liquid eyeliners I've tried that are too thick and just gloop on!)

I wore both of the black shades from about 7am-9pm on two different occasions, and by the end of the day, the color looked exactly the same as when I put it on. While this is awesome, this could be a problem for those of you who typically don't use a good eye makeup remover, because these can be a little difficult to remove. (I use the Mary Kay makeup remover, so I had absolutely no problem!)

These retail for $7.49 on the Milani website.

Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Trends: Accessories

Hey everyone!

Curious about this Spring's trends?! Today is the first post from my Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Trends series! I will have multiple posts going up during the next couple of weeks highlighting some of this upcoming season's biggest trends. Today, we're tackling accessories!

Let's get to it:

Yep! This trend is still going strong! Adding a bright accessory to a neutral color outfit is an excellent way to add a little bit of style to your outfit, while keeping things simple!

Ok, so I find this one a little weird. There is no way I would want people to see everything that's in my purse! I definitely don't see this lasting long. Have any of you tried this trend out yet?

Fringe
The 60s and West American fringe styles are back and are being added to just about everything! I think fringe jewelry is definitely eyecatching and a creative.

Knee Gladiator Sandals
The past popular trend of gladiator sandals is back with a twist! I think these are so cool looking! I wish I could pull them off, but I'm thinking I won't be able to...

Metals
Bold gold or silver jewelry has become quite popular! I love wearing metal jewelry, but I definitely prefer more simple pieces and ones that aren't as drastic as the ones shown above.

What do you guys think? Are there any of these trends that you're dying to try out??

Milani Color Statement Lipstick and Lipliner Collection: Pinks and Corals

Hey Everyone!

Today I have swatches of Milani's Color Statement Lipstick and Lipliner in Pinks and Corals to share with you all!

I'm in love with these lipsticks! They are extremely pigmented, and you only need to put one coat of it on to get the full color. They also smell amazing, and don't have that odd waxy smell that you can get with similar products. These retail for $5.49 on the Milani website.

Born Pretty Leopard Scarf

Hey everyone!

Sorry for beening so absent lately! I've been working pretty hard on restructuring my blog, and as many of you have probably noticed, the entire layout of the site is completely different now. I'm still working out all of the organization problems with the tabs at the top of the page, but other than that, it's pretty much set up! So exciting! Anyway, I'm back now, and starting next week, I'll be starting to post everyday! (Maybe not Sundays though...I still haven't decided)

For today's post, I have another fashion item from Born Pretty to review for you all! The item that Born Pretty sent me to review this time is an awesome leopard print scarf! (I got the grey one)

This scarf is actually really soft and is made from some nice, sturdy material. This would look great with a dark t-shirt, and I'll definitely be wearing this during the spring! This retails for $5.94, which I think is a great price, since I usually see scarves going for about $12-$16 around where I live. (Born Pretty also offers free shipping!)
