Life as a Beauty Blogger and Where I've Been!

Hey everyone!

As many of you have probably noticed, I recently took an extended unannounced break from blogging. I've received quite a few emails from many of you guys asking where I've been and when I will be back to blogging regularly, so I feel like an explanation is in order!

While being a beauty blogger is something that I absolutely love, it's also something that can get really stressful if you don't handle it right. I started out blogging with the sole intention of it being a hobby, and planned on spending 2-3 hours a week on it. Over the last year and a half, my blog has exploded, and now there are nearly 6,000 of you! As the amount of readers started to grow, my amount of sponsorships (which I 100% appreciate!), and work did as well. My "hobby" suddenly became a job that required 20-30 hours a week! I used to be so excited to sit down and paint my nails and share my thoughts with you guys, but with all the pressure I was feeling, that became something I dreaded having to do.

These past few weeks, I've really been trying to focus on trying to find a balance between my actual job (I own my own piano business!) and my hobby/now part-time job (blogging). I think I just got to the point where I was completely burnt out, and felt that I had to push too hard to get quality content out there for you guys.

This break as been amazing, and I finally feel like I'm ready to get back to blogging! I'm ready to be excited about blogging again, and can't wait to share a ton of great posts I have lined up with you guys! Thanks so much for your continued support! You guys rock!
