Incoco Golden Rule

Hey everyone!

Recently, the company Incoco sent me some of their non-liquid nail polish strips to try out! Incoco nail strips are made from real nail polish, and each strip includes a base, color, and top coat. If you're interested in checking out their nail strips, you can go to their website here!

The design that I will be reviewing today is Golden Rule. Golden Rule consists of a black base with a minimal golden shimmer with a gold ivy design. I really liked this design, and I think it's perfect for fall!

This was my first time ever applying nail strips, and I was surprised at how easy it was! The strips stretched in order to fit my nail perfectly, and the whole process of putting them on didn't take more than 10 minutes.

These retail for $8.99 on the Incoco website.

Buff'd Cosmetics Fall 2012 Collection

Hey everyone!

Buff'd Cosmetics recently sent me their products from their Fall 2012 Collection to try out! This collection consists of seven different fall shades that are separated into three perfectly coordinated collections!

If you don't know much about Buff'd Cosmetics, they offer all-natural mineral makeup products that are completely free of irritants and toxins that can be harmful to your skin. Their products are formulated using only the purest minerals and pigments, oils and waxes, and natural preservatives and fragrances.

Here are some swatches with the reviews for each product:

Pallas Lipstick
Pallas is a dark rose toned lipstick. This applied really smooth and didn't make my lips feel dry at all!

Forever Lipstick
Forever is a sheer light pink lipstick. I had to put on a little more of this product than I would with the lipsticks I normally use in order to get it to show up on my lips. Aside from that, this is a really pretty, casual shade that I really liked.

Ribbons Blush
Ribbons is a very sheer medium-pink toned blush. When I tried this out, I put it on my cheeks and then brushed a light layer of my foundation over it. It looked awesome and lasted all day!

Constance Eye Shadow
Constance is a very interesting color that is along the lines of a burnt orange shade with a light gold shimmer to it. This applied great and lasted all day, but I had a hard time creating a look with this shade since my skin is so light.

Morellow Eye Liner
Morellow is a very dark brown shade with a hint of shimmer to it. When I tried this out on my eyes, I applied it wet, which worked awesome! The color was very dense and looked great. Since this eye liner is in mineral form, you could also use it as an eye shadow in your crease.

Smoulder Eye Shadow
Smoulder is a dusty light pink shadow with some minimal shimmer to it. I have no complaints about this one, and I think this would look really great for someone who prefers a more natural look!

Eve Eye Shadow
Eve is a metallic rose gold toned shadow. This is very pigmented. I think this is a beautiful color that would work well on people of all different skin tones!

Also, Buff'd Cosmetics currently has a sale going on through Friday, October 5th! If you want to check out their fall collection or any of their other items, you can visit their website here!

Nicole by OPI Just Busta Mauve

Hey everyone!

Today, I have some swatches of Nicole by OPI's Just Busta Mauve to share with you all! Just Busta Mauve is from Nicole by OPI's Fall 2012 Target Exclusives collection. Just Busta Mauve is a plum color with blue and pink shimmer. This polish also has a duochrome effect that makes the shimmer shift to a beautiful gold color. I used two coats!

Ecco Bella Ambrosia Perfume

Hey everyone!

I was recently sent a couple of products from Ecco Bella to try out! Ecco Bella is a natural and organic skin care, hair care, and cosmetic company. One of the products that I was sent was Ecco Bella's Ambrosia Perfume.

Since Ecco Bella only makes natural products, their purfumes are made from real oils from flowers, fruit, herbs, and spices. This smells like a mixture of floral, spices, and vanilla. Also, at some points I was almost sure that this smelled like black licorice. I'm typically into more fruity perfumes, so this one wasn't exactly for me. (This was my first time trying out an ambrosia perfume)

This smells extremely strong when you first put it on, but then gets much better after a few minutes. After awhile, the strong scent is gone, and it this turns into a light floral with a slight hint of ginger.

Ecco Bella offers four different scents in their perfume: Ambrosia, Bourbon Vanilla, Lavender, and Lemon Verbana. Their perfumes retail at $27 for 1 oz.

Loreal Fall 2012 British Shade Invasion Collection

Hey everyone!

Today, I have swatches of Loreal's Fall 2012 collection! This collection is limited edition and consists of 6 beautiful polishes that are London themed! Check them out:

Brit Invasion is an medium taupe color with an awesome gold shimmer. This one is pretty sheer, so I had to use three coats!

Hyde Park is a rich green creme. The formula for this one was awesome and I used two coats.

Notting Hill Blues is a bright royal blue color with a very subtle shimmer to it. The formula for this one was a little runny, which made it difficult to work with. I used three coats!

Rainy Piccadilly is a deep navy/teal blue creme. This applied great and was almost completely opaque in one coat!

Tea and Crumpets is a cool toned nude creme. This polish was a little thin and it took three coats to reach full opacity.

The Perfect Trench is a muted mustard creme. This polish was fairly thick and I used two coats!

Essie Blue Rhapsody

Hey everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Today I have some swatches of Essie's Blue Rhapsody to share with you all! Blue Rhapsody is a icy blue foil. This polish is very pretty, but not very original, as I've seen multiple polishes that look exactly like this. The formula for this one is pretty runny and it applies very streaky, so it's important to just use thin coats. (I ended up having to use three in order to reach full opacity)
