Revlon Sheer Cotton

Hey everyone!

Tonight, I have some swatches of Revlon's Sheer Cotton to share with you all! I would describe Sheer Cotton as a really light cream with a slight hint of pink to it. I absolutely love this color!

While the color is awesome, the formula is not. This applied really streaky and ended up bubbling a ton. I've found that most Revlon polishes have this problem, but I keep buying them because I'm usually able to find them on clearance for $1 and the colors tend to be really pretty.

If any of you know of a polish that's this same color that has a better formula, let me know!

  3. I find that my top speeds apply better without a base coat, if you're using one (maybe it's just me)
I love the formula on normal Revlons though, but maybe I'm used to them..

  6. That is a pretty, elegant looking color. Recently, I have been disappointed with Revlon polish formulas too.

  8. I like this - might be a bit sheer and hard to build up well to total opaque. It looks a little like OPI Play The Peonies from the Nice Stems Collection - Summer 2011. PTP has a shimmer to it where as the Revlon is a true cream. Both have some bit of pink and a touch of beige in them. However the OPI one is very opaque ASAP. I highly recommend that shade to many. It works where you don't want a optic white, need opacity and just a tish of mystery of what's going on there??
