Orly Sapphire Silk

Hey everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Today I have some swatches of Orly’s Sapphire Silk to show you all. This was actually the third time that I wore this polish with the intention of getting pictures of it. The other two times I wore it, my pictures either turned out terrible or it I was way too busy to get the pictures on the day I had it on. This time, I was actually really busy and was almost unsuccessful. I was babysitting all day, but brought my camera with me, and managed to sneak into the kids’ bedroom and took a few pictures by their open window. Haha. I can only imagine what they would have thought if they walked in on me taking pictures of my hands.

Anyway, Sapphire Silk is a deep blue teal creme. It’s from Orly’s Spring 2011 Precious collection, but I think this is a really great shade for fall. This was really easy to work with and applied great. This polish is a little on the thin side, so using two coats is a must.

I just checked, and this is available on Amazon! Here's the link:

  1. Very pretty! Did it stain at all? The last two times I wore teal, I had smurf hands :(

  2. @mrsrexy: It didn't stain at all! I've worn this polish many times with and without using a base coat, and I've never had problems with staining.
