I hope you all had a fantastic Sunday! Sunday’s are my absolute favorite day of the week. Today, my sister and I drove about an hour to our closest Ulta. I ended up getting 6 new polishes, so I’m pretty excited! I will probably end up swatching a lot of them throughout the week for you guys. As for today, I have another comparison post for ya’ll! The two polishes I’m going to compare are OPI’s Guy Meets Gal-veston and NYC’s Times Square.
I, again, made the annoying mistake of buying two polishes that look exactly alike. Both of these polishes are bright corals with a hint of pink to them. I really couldn’t find any difference in the actual color of these polishes. The only major difference between these two would be their formulas. Guy Meets Gal-veston is a jelly and Times Square, well, isn’t. This is what really made the polishes look a little bit different, since it was difficult to make Guy Meets Gal-veston look opaque. I ended up having to use 4 coats of Guy Meets Gal-veston and only two coats of Times Square. In my opinion, Times Square is the much better option of these two. It became completely opaque in two coats, and only cost me $2, while Guy Meets Gal-veston cost $8.50.
